1. About the service

The Wellness App is a wellness tracking platform for people living with chronic illness, including fibromyalgia and ME/CFS. It provides daily check-ins, a recovery programme, community support, live therapeutic sessions, and AI-generated wellness summaries.

Important: The Wellness App is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI summaries reflect your own self-reported data only and should not replace professional medical care.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Wellness App. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must provide a valid email address.
  • One account per person. Do not share your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. This will permanently remove all your data.

4. Subscription & payments

  • The Wellness App costs £20 per month, billed monthly via Stripe.
  • Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
  • You may cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial months.
  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

5. Acceptable use

When using the community features, you agree to:

  • Be respectful and supportive of other community members.
  • Not share medical advice or claim to diagnose or treat conditions.
  • Not post offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content.
  • Not spam, solicit, or advertise.
  • Report content that violates these guidelines.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your data

Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • Your health data is yours. You can export or delete it at any time.
  • Journal entries are encrypted at rest.
  • We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Data is stored in the UK (AWS eu-west-2, London).

7. AI wellness summaries

The AI wellness summaries provided by the app:

  • Are generated from your own self-reported check-in data only.
  • Are not medical advice and should not be relied upon for clinical decisions.
  • May contain inaccuracies or miss important patterns.
  • Should be discussed with your healthcare provider if you have concerns about your health.

8. Limitation of liability

The Wellness App is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on information provided by the app, including AI-generated summaries. The app is not a substitute for professional medical care.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you via email of any significant changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
